Grass Fed Meats
Ask your meat market or local food purveyor for grass fed meats (or raise your own.) They have more vitamins and minerals, a more nutritious fat profile, and are healthier for the environment. Oh, and they taste better, too!
For 32 years my husband and I ran a small retail garden center in Ohio. We keep a flock of chickens for eggs, and we make our own wine from kits and from fruit that grows on our 8 acres. In the spring, summer and fall you'll find me outside in my gardens, and in the winter I'll be inside, cooking, baking, working on my scrapbooks or reading.
